Learning coach Gregg Goodhart will work with students in a "Practiclass" or a practicing masterclass where he teaches students how to practice more effectively. This event will benefit all students, parents, and teachers. There will be a mix of presentation of ideas for how to practice more effectively and hands-on demonstration of those concepts in action with selected MTSA students.
Students, parents, and teachers are encouraged to register for this event to RSVP.
Unlike a normal masterclass where students play only polished pieces, students will play material they are currently working on and Gregg will coach them through strategies to help get better, faster. To volunteer to play for the masterclass, please register for the event and indicate you want to play by Friday 1/19. Students chosen to for coaching segments will be announced on Saturday 1/20.
