The MTSA Fall Workshop welcomes Suzuki violinists of all ages to take part in a wonderful weekend of fun, learning, and music for students of all ages and experience levels.
Guest clinicians Kim Barrett, Tim Barrett, Carol Dallinger, and Terry Durbin will lead group classes and talks throughout the day on Saturday 9/30, culminating with a final recital for all participants.
Students will be divided into masterclass groups based on their experience level, and all students will work with each of the clinicians.
Additionally, all four clinicians will offer individual coaching in masterclass format on Friday afternoon/evening. Student may also register to play individually for a clinician in either a 20-minute or 40-minute masterclass slot. After registering for the workshop, students may register under Workshop: Masterclass Lessons.

Registration
Registration will open August 4th, and close TUESDAY September 26 — now extended! No refunds will be given after registrations closes.
Registration is $125 for students in families with an active MTSA Associate or Teacher membership. Registration for non-MTSA families is $150, and if the student's teacher is already a member of the MTSA, also includes a complimentary annual membership: : come for the workshop and enjoy all the benefits of MTSA membership throughout the year for no additional cost.
Each student who registers by 9/13 will receive a t-shirt with registration. Additional t-shirts may be ordered at registration for $15.
Masterclass slots on Friday afternoon are $35 for a 20-minute slot, or $70 for a 40-minute slot. Masterclass registration is first-come, first-served and available only once you have registered for the student workshop.

Friday, 9/29
4:00 – 8:00: Masterclass lessons with all four clinicians. Registered students may sign up for a masterclass lesson for an additional fee; any registered student may observe for free.
Saturday, 9/30
8:30: Workshop check-in
9:00: Group class #1
10:00: Group class #2
11:00: Group class #3
12:00: Break for lunch
1:30: Clinician talk: "Ideas and Philosophies for Learning" by Terry Durbin
2:30: Group class #4
3:45+: Final performance with all participating students
