Register

Teachers: Nominate your students!

The annual MTSA Honors Recital features our most committed and diligent students and will be held at St. Cecilia Academy on February 1, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.. Each MTSA teacher may nominate two students to perform on the recital. Teachers submit their nominations by registering for this event (use the button on the left).

Teachers should nominate committed students who practice consistently and work hard for high achievement: please nominate one less experienced student (beginner/intermediate) and one more experienced student (intermediate/advanced), as appropriate to your studio.

Nominations will be accepted between December 17, 2025 and January 17, 2025.

  • To nominate, your MTSA membership must be current.

  • Nominate students who are also current, active members of the MTSA (the family has an active Associate or Teacher membership).
  • When nominating, please include full details of the pieces to be performed.

Honors Recital Details

The MTSA Honors Recital Committee will confirm participants in the Honors Recital with all students and teachers on or before Monday, January 19th, 2024.

A reception will follow the recital. Out of respect for all performers, students and parents should stay for the entire recital and enjoy the food and camaraderie afterwards!

Pianist

MTSA will arrange a pianist to play, free of charge, for any students performing works with piano. Students using the MTSA pianist must rehearse at the St. Cecilia Academy on the afternoon/evening of Friday, January 30, 2026 or arrange a separate rehearsal with that pianist their own expense. Students who wish to use their own pianist are welcome to make their own arrangements.

If you have questions about registering, please contact Fred Sienkiewicz at president@middletnsuzuki.org .
